Ashlynn carries a degree in Professional Writing (Creative Writing minor). In the past she has interned with the Maryland Writers Association, worked as a tour guide at a Native American museum, and scrubbed bodily fluids off desks as an elementary school custodian.
These days she sticks to less messy occupations: running WR, writing a Young Adult WIP, volunteering at the local library, and loving life with her shiny new husband (also known as Mr. Tech Support).
She can be reached at ashlynn@writersrevue.com, or at YALitChat.
Caitlin has a B.A. in English Literary Studies (and yes, she’s heard that Avenue Q song). She worked on her college’s literary magazine, The York Review, for two years, first as Prose Editor and then as Managing Editor. She was also a contributor. She has had two plays performed in the college’s annual Student One-Acts, and these days she (sort of) maintains two blogs: Get Occupied and Sexed.
Since she’s a grown-up now, she waits tables (in true starving artist fashion), cleans her house, and reads three books a week. She also occasionally works on her own young adult WIP, and every now and then plans a new tattoo that she can’t afford yet (three backlogged so far). The rest of her time is devoted to her tireless quest to make her darling boyfriend read more.
She can be reached at cspivey1954@gmail.com.
Caroline is a Masters student (in English, of course) at Villanova University. She has a B.A. in English Literature from Franklin & Marshall College, where she undertook grant research on the connections between British literature, indie rock, and cultural self-perception. At Villanova, she works as a writing tutor and research assistant.
In her (limited) free time, she freelances for the music blog Cover Me. She also enjoys concert going, travel, and shopping, often in combination. The highlight of her life thus far has been meeting her musical idol, Carl Barat. This was quickly followed by the lowlight, when she discovered the picture of them together didn’t turn out.
Lanette graduated with a BA in History from Chestnut Hill College where she devoted most of her time to the study of Medieval Europe. She served as an editor for the school’s academic magazine,
Luminous Review, and as the general manager of the literary magazine,
The Grackle.
She currently lives and works in Washington, DC as a court clerk (when her job isn’t taking her to New York, Los Angeles, Boise, or the like). Because of the time consuming nature of her job, her ‘spare time’ is generally spent reading a book in the nearest airport, or complaining about the aforementioned airport. She loves getting to see the country, visiting museums, and collecting postcards.
